# Favorites

Favorites is a personal library for saving and revisiting images you want quick access to later. It allows you to collect useful, inspiring, or frequently reused images in one place, independent of any single project.

Favorites is part of **Libraries**. It exists outside the canvas and persists across projects and sessions.

## What Favorites is for

Favorites is designed to help you:

* save images you want to reuse or reference later
* keep important or high-quality generations easy to find
* collect inspiration without duplicating or exporting files
* access saved images across different projects

Favoriting an image does not change the image itself or affect the project it belongs to.

## Adding images to Favorites

There are three ways to add an image to Favorites:

* From the canvas, right-click an image and select **Add to Favorites**
* From **History**, hover over an image and click the **heart icon**
* From **Community**, hover over an image and click the **heart icon**

When an image is favorited, the **red heart icon** appears filled.

Favorited images are saved to your Favorites library for easy access and reuse.

## Accessing Favorites

Favorites can be accessed in two ways:

* Click the **Recraft (R) icon** in the top navigation and select **Favorites**
* Open the [Favorites page](https://www.recraft.ai/liked) directly

Favorites opens as a standalone library view outside the canvas.

## Actions available on Favorites

Favorites supports two interaction levels: **hover actions** for quick access, and **image detail actions** when you open an image.

### On hover

When you hover over an image in Favorites, you can:

* **Copy prompt**: Copy the prompt used to generate the image
* **Download**: Download the image to your device
* **Remove from Favorites**: Click the **heart icon** to remove the image from Favorites

### On click (image detail view)

When you click an image, an image detail panel opens. From there, you can:

* **View metadata**: See details such as model, style, image type (raster or vector), and aspect ratio
* **View prompt**: Inspect the full prompt used to generate the image
* **Copy link**: Copy a direct link to the image
* **Download**: Download the image
* **Remove from Favorites**: Remove the image from Favorites

These actions do not modify the original image or the project it came from.

## Removing images from Favorites

Removing an image from Favorites does not delete the image or affect its original location.

To remove an image from Favorites:

* Open **Favorites**
* Hover over the image and click the **heart icon** to remove it from Favorites
