Style it once, every image matches
Every generator claims to match a style. Most of them just “approximate” it. V4 Styles, released in August 2026, hold the whole composition: texture, composition, and rendering, not just the general vibe. Give it one reference image or as many as 10. Similar references sharpen the match. A wider mix widens the range the model can work in. Either way, nothing needs training or fine-tuning. Attach a reference, generate, and you’re done. And unlike models that only recognize styles born inside them, V4 Styles reads references from anywhere: other generators, brand libraries, or an asset pulled from a client’s old campaign. The benchmark
In a blind, third-party-judged benchmark across 159 real-world styles, Precise mode won 91.6% of its head-to-head matchups. The comparison set: GPT Image 2 High, Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 5.0 Pro, Flux 2 Max, Nano Banana 2, Midjourney, and Krea 2 Large, each at the version available on August 14, 2026. Recraft designed the test, but five independent evaluators per matchup, sourced through a third-party crowdsourcing platform and blind to which model made which image, decided every result. Full methodology is available on request. A note on the field: these are strong models, and several of them are the reason “style match” became table stakes in the first place. This benchmark measures one specific thing, holding a style across a generation, not overall image quality. It’s the thing V4 Styles was built to win on. The named competitor models identify the visual styles used as benchmark inputs. Precise is the default setting, and it’s the one to reach for when the brief says “match this exactly.” It follows a reference’s texture, palette, and rendering with the kind of loyalty that holds up across a full batch, not just a lucky first image. Flexible is the looser read, closer to the style-matching Recraft V3 users already know, refined for V4. Use it when the goal is the mood of a reference, not a copy of it.Two new models, one job
V4 Styles ships as two models: Recraft V4 Styles and Recraft V4 Styles Pro (recraftv4_styles and recraftv4_styles_pro). V4 Styles is the go-to for routine work, and V4 Styles Pro is the one to pick when you need more high-resolution work.
Every other model in the V4 family also supports style-consistent generation now, at the same price as generating without a style.
