Recraft V2

Recraft V2 is an image generation model released in February 2024 — the first AI model built specifically for designers, enabling both raster and vector images with anatomical accuracy, consistent brand styling, and precise iteration control. It is the cheapest option in the API. While V2 does not match the newer models in prompt adherence or text accuracy, it remains preferred by many users for a set of specific styles — minimalistic icons, textured illustration, and vector-based workflows.

V2 does not support accurate in-image text generation and may produce typographic errors. If the image contains text, use a V3 or newer model.
