Cookie Statement

Recraft Inc.

Last modified: 20 October 2026

1. About this Policy

1.1 Scope. This Cookie Statement (“Statement”) explains how Recraft, Inc. ("Recraft", "we", or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on recraft.ai and its subdomains, and on any other website or application we operate that links to this Statement. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy at https://www.recraft.ai/legal/privacy, which explains more generally how we handle personal information.

1.2 Changes. We may update this Statement from time to time. Any updates will be posted here with a new date.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

2.1 Cookies. A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device. Cookies allow a website to recognize your device, remember your choices, and understand how the site is being used.

2.2 Similar technologies. We also use technologies that work in a similar way, including browser storage such as local storage and session storage, pixels and tags on our web pages and in our emails, and software development kits in our mobile applications. In this Statement we refer to all of these as "cookies". Some of the information described in this Statement is also sent to our providers directly from our servers rather than from your browser. Where that happens, it is governed by the same categories and the same choices you make through our cookie banner.

2.3 First-party and third-party cookies. Cookies set by us on our own domains are first-party cookies. Cookies set by another organization whose service runs on our site are third-party cookies.

3. The categories of cookies we use

3.1 Categories. We group the cookies we use into four categories.

3.2 Essential. Required for the website and the Services to load and work. These cookies keep you signed in, route your requests, remember your cookie choices, and support security and fraud prevention. The Services cannot be provided without them.

3.3 Functional. Remember choices you have made so that the Services work the way you expect, for example your language or interface preferences. The site still loads without them.

3.4 Performance and analytics. Help us understand how the Services are used in aggregate, for example which pages are visited, how long people spend on them, and where errors occur, so that we can improve them.

3.5 Marketing. Used to measure the performance of our advertising and to improve how our advertising is targeted. These technologies are provided by third parties including Google, Meta, and Microsoft, and allow those providers to receive information about your activity on our websites, including pages you view and actions such as starting a subscription. We may also send information about sign-ups and purchases, including a hashed version of your email address, to these providers directly from our servers. The providers currently in use are listed in Section 4.1. Those providers use that information for the purposes above and to measure our campaigns and to improve their own advertising models, and it may be used to show you our advertising on other websites and apps.

3.6 Session recording. We may use session recording to understand how you move through and interact with our web pages, including clicks, scrolling, mouse movement and, where it is not masked, text you enter into fields on the page, such as a prompt, so that we can find and fix usability problems. Session recording sits in the performance and analytics category, so it is used only where you have consented to that category. Any session recording tool in use is listed in Section 4.1 We do not record sessions on our sign-in pages or on our payment provider’s pages.

4. The cookies we use

4.1 Vendors. We do not list every cookie individually. The vendors whose technologies we use are:

Essential. Recording and applying your cookie choices, keeping you signed in, and securing payments.
Providers: DataGrail, Keycloak, Cloudflare, Adapty (FunnelFox)
Maximum duration: Session, or up to 12 months for saved preferences
Consent required: Not required

Functional. Supporting live chat and remembering display settings such as language.
Providers: Ahrefs, Zendesk
Maximum duration: Up to 12 months
Consent required: Required

Performance and analytics. Understanding how the Services are used, measuring page performance, and diagnosing errors.
Providers: Amplitude, Braze, Google Analytics, Microsoft, Adapty, PostHog
Maximum duration: Up to 2 years
Consent required: Required

Marketing. Measuring the performance of our advertising and improving how it is targeted.
Providers: Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, Pinterest, X, Adapty (FunnelFox)
Maximum duration: Up to 13 months
Consent required: Required

Where information in the Marketing category is sent to a provider directly from our servers rather than from your browser, no cookie is placed and no duration applies.

Our cookie preferences center shows the current position for each category, and you can open it at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of our website.

4.2 How long cookies last. The cookies we use are either session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. Expiry periods vary by cookie and by provider.

5. How we ask for your consent

5.1 Where we ask for consent. Where the law requires your consent before non-essential cookies are set, we ask for it through a banner when you first visit, and we do not set those cookies until you have made a choice. This applies if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, Brazil, Quebec, Canada, China, South Africa and Thailand or additional jurisdictions as applicable.

5.2 Other jurisdictions. In other jurisdictions, non-essential cookies may be set when you arrive, and you can opt out at any time as described in Section 6.

5.3 How we apply these rules. We detect which rules apply to you based on your IP address at the time of your visit. If you close the banner without making a selection, we treat that as leaving your existing preferences unchanged.

5.4 Browser signals. We also recognize and honor browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control.

6. How to change your choices

6.1 Changing your choices. You can change your cookie choices at any time: (i) if you are signed in to your Recraft account, in your account settings (online) or under Profile (mobile); or (ii) if you are not signed in, using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of our website.

6.2 How your choices are stored. Your choices are stored in a cookie on your device. If you clear your cookies, or use a different browser or device, you will be asked again.

6.3 Withdrawing consent. Where you withdraw consent for a category, the cookies in that category will stop being set and existing cookies in that category will be removed from your browser. Where information has already been sent to a provider directly from our servers, withdrawing consent stops any further information being sent, but we cannot recall information the provider has already received. Some third-party cookies are set directly by another organization on its own domain and cannot be removed by us. You can delete those through your browser settings.

6.4 Where your choices apply. Your preferences apply across the Recraft websites covered by this Statement. Preferences set on our main website carry across to those sites where those sites share the same tag management configuration. Some of our pages, including pages used for marketing or sign-up campaigns, may be hosted on a separate domain or run on a separate configuration. Where that is the case, preferences set on those pages are recorded separately, and you may be asked for your preferences again when you move between them and our main website.

6.5 Browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Services will not work.

7. Mobile applications

7.1 In addition to cookies, our mobile applications use software development kits (SDKs) that collect device identifiers and information about installs and in-app events, for the purposes described in the Marketing and Performance categories above. Where we use advertising identifiers to measure our marketing, we do so only where you have given permissions through your device’s tracking settings, and you can change that permission at any time.
